(Europe /near Stockholm) Again and again I meet people who ask me, since I have already been on the (public) square for a few days, whether it is safe here.
Mmh.
Of course, it is safe or not here. Certainly safer than certain social hotspots, but people who want to rob others, rob others as well as pickpockets can be found everywhere.
By the way, they are also mobile thanks to public transport.
GERMAN ANGST is an extremely bad companion, especially if you are NOT on guarded, expensive, narrow, noisy campsites.
But everyone has to work that out for themselves. I recommend these people to sell the camper and book a package tour with TUI. In a hotel complex with full entertainment and pool, fenced plus a wall around it and robust security.
And very important to have and get everything there without having to go to extremes:
Outside the area and possibly still make contact with the natives. That is not possible at all for many holidaymakers. There are these (southern) foreigners everywhere in the country. No, you don’t talk to people like that.
There are enough Germans in the hotel….
