Since I grew up very poor, the social imprint is of course deep in the human being.

Expensive food, especially very expensive branded or even luxury products, was never an issue.

Even though I have had the monetary possibilities for many years and, above all, have them now.

When I was invited to dinner at Niklas from Sweden a few days ago, he also had real French Roquefort.

For the first time in my life, I ate it and am thrilled by the fireworks of taste. Wow wow

Wanting to treat yourself has to be learned. I’m now also working on buying taste explosions more often.

Roquefort has a very long tradition: even the Romans knew Roquefort-like cheese, as Pliny the Elder mentions in his Naturalis historia. Around 1070, the Roquefort was first mentioned under this name in the monastic books of the Abbey of Conques, the taxes were partly paid in the form of Roquefort.
