I have learned that this assessment also depends very much on perspective. In Chile, I have often heard of the FEAR of going out on the street from certain bubbles with high walls and a lot of security personnel – where I was out and about every day and in contact with very nice people.
When I talked about cycling or motorhome riding in Germany, the great FREEDOM and COURAGE of “the Germans” was admired.
Thinking outside the box expands your horizons enormously!
