Heilbronn (dpo) – What could be more refreshing in summer than a cool drink? That’s right: an ice-cold drink! To ensure that everyone can make the ice cubes they need at home, Knorr now offers a practical ready-to-use mix for self-freezing.
“With Knorr Fix Ice Cube Mix, making ice cubes is now super easy!” says a press release from the company. “Just pour it into an ice cube tray, freeze, wait a few hours – done!”
According to Knorr, the product is already on sale in all federal states. The 400-milliliter standard pack is available for 3.99 euros. The main ingredient is water. The chemical compound H2O is also contained as a stabilizer.
Simon Frenke (31) from Kaiserslautern has already tried the new product and is very satisfied: “The Knorr ice cubes are really super cold and don’t differ in taste from ice cubes that you can get for a lot of money in the catering industry. Great!”
Knorr is also currently working on an ice cube dry mixture of freeze-dried water, to which only water needs to be added before freezing. It is scheduled to go on sale next year.
