The IDEA and current implementation = reality 🙂
Reduce from 240m² of living space to 20m² and travel mobile in the summer in Northern and Central Europe and work a little in IT on the go…. (Remote maintenance)
… das Frühjahr in Deutschland in Petershagen & Umgebung verbringen. In der Scheune meine Holz- und Metallwerkstatt weiter entwickeln und seit langen im Kopf bestehende Projekte realisieren…
… and in late autumn / winter in southern Europe and in the (mobile) 20m² home office in the Lebensmobil and also use the new playroom.
Travel to many European countries. Europe has more than 45 countries, so not just the EU.
Depending on your personal development, it is also an idea to take a “time-out” later and travel to Asia.
Let’s see what other people I get to know!

UPDATE February 2024
Due to the very competent and reliable work of the tenant of my small IT company and photo studio, I was able to further reduce my working hours and have been practically a private citizen for some time 🙂 Yeaaaaahhh
Less than 4-7 hours a week I still work in the mobile home office… As long as nothing comes up.
Either in the wind-protected outdoor area or in the life vehicle:
===
Medium-term objectives:
… and in 5 to 6 years a big motorcycle tour with an escort vehicle and three to five participants from Canada to Tierra del Fuego.
The 18,000 to 42,000 km (depending on the route) should be possible within 3 to 5 years:-)
However, I am currently preparing another website for this. Preliminary planning and finding interested parties will certainly take 2-3 years.
===
Long-term goals:
… if all goes well, I will hopefully still be able to:
Then a long-term goal (in about 10 years) is to buy a small house in a (very) southern country with reasonably good health care and a climate ratio that is attractive to me.
To go on small trips there, to occupy myself with my hobbies and to live with man’s best friends.
Countries not to be visited.
Unfortunately, there are many countries that are not acceptable to me!
For political, homophobic, health or security reasons, there are regions that I do not want to / will not travel.
I also have to observe states of the former “USSR”, which now belong to Europe. Because what the murderer (Kremlin, Putin) in Moscow is up to, no one knows. He’s completely insane, aggressive and unpredictable.

How it began…
In April 2021, I unfortunately had to euthanize my little WelshTerrier, only 6 years old.
That was very sad! Since I no longer had any social responsibility, the life plans that had been in place for many years had become more dense.
The decision has been made and the life plan is brought forward by 7 years.
Since I had already been a widower for 4 years at that time, the decision was not quite so difficult.
As a result of the amendment of the ECJ regarding the After the (NO LONGER) discrimination against same-sex unions, I was now also entitled to a widower’s pension.

Why your IT consultant sometimes seems a bit weird to you….
There are people who feel emotions more strongly than others, and this is partly genetic, but partly it is also learned in the course of life. A particularly passionate person will experience emotional events as very profound, very touching and vivid.
This person’s reward system obviously responds much more strongly to certain stimuli and thus allows him to have much stronger moments of happiness than others.
He has an experiential advantage that others want to gain with drugs (cigarettes, alcohol and others), for example.
If you like, passionate, particularly emotionally strong people are like lighthouses in our society, who can infect everyone else a bit, pull them along, carry them away.
Your IT SYS-ADMIN belongs to this kind of person – yee

ADHD sufferers are very original, creative people, often the uncomfortable courageous thought leaders because they can’t follow rules and question everything.
They have a very strong sense of justice.<<
Sometimes these people react extraordinarily violently, rudely or disproportionately when they think they are being treated unfairly or when there is something wrong with their understanding of justice!
There are many successful people who have ADHD without disease value, as a norm variant in the sense of a “certain way of being”. When these people have found the right professional niche for themselves, they are often ingenious and unbeatable in their sparkling zeal and tireless actionism.
In the media or as computer experts, we often find them as high-functioning sufferers, highly valued but exhausting for their fellow human beings.
======
“ADHD sufferers” often have violent mood swings: from sky-high jubilation to deathly sad.
They live in extremes almost all the time. They react emotionally violently, often exaggeratedly, to the smallest external events. The world is coming to an end because a relatively harmless remark of a fellow human being causes a deep insult, then the MP3 player doesn’t work because you forgot to charge the batteries and people are already cursing (quietly?).
But when a dear friend calls, the world is all right again. These extremely rapid mood changes cause a lot of trouble for the person concerned, but also for those around them. Impulsivity is another problem. ADHD sufferers act at lightning speed from the gut, excessively. “First done, then thought…”.
They are often sorry afterwards that they reacted so extremely, but they can’t control their intense feelings at that moment.
It’s the old HB males, the heat flashes, but also the people with the two faces, from whom you can have everything if they are in a good mood, but who completely freak out when they come under stress and mercilessly hurl their feelings into the world when they feel like it.
For example, ADHD sufferers are sensitive to themselves, but not at all squeamish about dishing out immediately when they feel attacked.
It is an extreme emotional life, not infrequently in a state of exception. “Black and white” and there is little in between! The middle ground is rarely found and both frustrations and defeats are difficult to bear.

I’m an eccentric!
They are different from others, have their own style and are very special: there is only one eccentric among 10,000 people
Eccentricity is not a whimsy or a mental disorder, but a personality trait. What triggers eccentricity, whether it is congenital or which brain regions are responsible for it, has not been scientifically clarified.
What is certain is that eccentrics usually live contentedly on the fringes of society (Latin: ex centro = outside the center) and outside the prevailing norms. Eccentrics are non-conformists: they don’t care about how the world normally works. The pressure to follow one’s own personality is greater than the pressure of one’s environment to conform.
Eccentrics – a touchstone for a tolerant society
In the 1980s, neuropsychologist David Weeks analyzed more than 1,000 eccentric individuals in a study and scoured history for obvious eccentrics.
His conclusion: eccentrics may seem crazy to their contemporaries, but they are an engine of progress. And it seems to have existed at all times and in all cultures.

Definition
The term “eccentric” refers to a person who deliberately deviates from cultural norms. In every society, there are many and different social norms that are supposed to be followed by different social groups. There is room for manoeuvre with regard to the binding nature of these standards. Some norms must be observed (e.g. laws) because otherwise there is a risk of very severe negative sanctions, others can be ignored without too much effort (e.g. nutritional advice). Societies and social groups use norms functionally, because without norms or rules, coexistence cannot take place without conflict in the long run. Norms are also used to exercise power and demonstrate status. Violations of compliance with standards are usually severely punished. If you violate the norm, you quickly become a criminal or an outsider and are on the sidelines of society.
However, this does not apply to eccentrics. If you look at their social status, you will notice that they are found more often than average in elites, and this is what fundamentally distinguishes them from other dissenters. Eccentrics are therefore people who know the rules or norms that apply in their social environment very well and consciously deviate from them at a reasonable distance. Eccentricity is therefore a deliberate and freely lived deviation from the social mainstream.
The more complex and dynamic a society is, the more social groups there are that want to make themselves heard in the scramble for social power and recognition and want to define a “middle” in a leading way. This makes it difficult to formulate a uniform definition of “eccentricity”. But it is precisely in this competition for social acceptance and attention that people who are particularly loud, shrill or different are highly functional. And they act as a kind of “scouting party” that opens up a relatively safe departure to new possibilities for the other members of society. Therefore, a highly complex and very fruitful interrelationship has been established between eccentrics and modern or postmodern cultures. [1]
But even if a generally binding definition of “eccentricity” is not possible, ideal types of eccentrics can be distinguished. The few available scientific studies (especially the empirical study by David Weeks) as well as the epistemological instruments of Max Weber and Georg Simmel can be used as a basis for the creation of these ideal types.
