The current disastrous PISA study does not stop at power generation… 😅

No, of course not, here is a very good illustration of the necessity of large LINE CROSS-sections for low voltages!

I set up two mobile solar bags this morning to charge two power stations.

The large Jackery (1 KW/h memory) can be charged with up to 200 watts of solar modules.

With ONE solar bag, currently charged with 85 watts.

The second solar bag is attached to the second, small power station.

Charged here at the moment with 68 watts

If I now charge ONE power station in parallel with a Y-adapter and a small CABLE CROSS-SECTION….

Only 115 watts, instead of 153 watts.

Good to know, I have to solder or press together a Y-adapter with a significantly larger CABLE CROSS-section.
