Looks like a vehicle from another star, um, century. The energy demand and diesel consumption is gigantic compared to European trucks.
But still nice to look at!
By the way, this vehicle needs about 50 liters of diesel. At 100 km!
Please note that the lamps are equipped with “modern” Edison bulbs and not with the previous technology, namely GAS 😅
Just researched…
On the last leg, his truck got just under eight miles on a gallon of diesel. That’s the equivalent of almost 30 liters per 100 kilometers. In the USA, where the majority of trucks easily swallow 50 liters , this is actually a top value. But not for Henry. This consumption throws him far back on his way to becoming the most fuel-efficient trucker in the country.
