With 12V (13.2 – 13.8 volts) high-performance batteries that can permanently deliver a total of 400 amperes in parallel connection, we need gigantic cable cross-sections.
These are not cables, but really thick cables.
I already have the next generation of LiFePO4 plus batteries installed in the trailer. The third 200 Ah battery will be added in a few weeks, back in Germany. (There are currently 4 x 200 Ah LiFePO4 in the life mobile)
For the parallel connection and the connections to the inverter and the solar controllers, an upgrade is then required….
The batteries would be able to supply (parallel connection) 3 x 200 Ah at 12 volts!
Power 7,200 watts = 7.2 KW STRONG
However, I “only” need 3 to 4 KW if the eSmart and, if necessary, the eMotorcycle are charged at the same time.
I buy 25mm² cables (rolls) directly from the wholesaler and assemble them myself with a special hydraulic crimping pliers.
All in all, this is much cheaper and also for future projects!
Especially since I then use several 25 mm² cables in parallel.
