I was kindly allowed to spend the first night on the closed grounds.

Around 10.30 a.m. the spare parts arrived from Madrid (!) with the night courier.

Then it was time to tinker.

I’m working slightly elevated on two homepages while outside, a little deeper, half the engine is being dismantled.

The mechanics here are very diligent. The workshop manager and foreman is very experienced, competent and, like all employees, extremely friendly.

Kindness seems to be in the DNA of most Spaniards.

I wanted to tip 5 euros each three times to different employees for their good jobs on my motorhome.

    They vehemently blocked themselves. Crass.

Hopefully, there won’t be any parts left over when you screw it together.
Corpus Delicti. There the second alternator was bolted on. The breakage must have already been there at the time of purchase. But that’s life.
The new aluminium system for a mere 640 EUR (Germany 820,– EUR) is installed

Underneath comes the oil pan. Unfortunately, the old one is no longer in order. Let’s see. The workshop manager still had an intact used one.
